Zodiac Kombucha Tea is a startup that offers an organic fermented tea filled to the brim with probiotic cultures. Their kombucha is unique in that it is formulated with each of the astrological signs in mind. Each of their twelve distinct flavors is based on the characteristics and attributes of the sign-in which it represents.

For this company, I was tasked with creating a logo design, packaging for their product, and website design. For such an inspired concept, I turned to hand-drawn illustrations inspired by vintage star charts. The logo is a modern take on a historical aesthetic with the star symbol for the sun nestled neatly into its interior. This is a subtle reminder that each of the signs is an entity that relates back to the sun
Kombucha is best stored in airtight clear glass bottles in order to aid in the fermentation process of the tea. The seal over the top cap offers insight into the flavor of that particular bottle but also ensures that the bottle has been sealed properly prior to consumption. Each bottle depicts the visual interpretation of its sign on the front while the back totes it's constellation.
